Poetry Collection Title Reveal and More
Hello, hello! It’s Tuesday night once again and here I am as usual to remind you of that. This week I’ve got a few announcements to make and a favours to ask. First off, in the next two weeks you will receive the rest of my poems to be included in my poetry collection. There will be at least 3 more poems, but I’m looking for prompts from YOU (remember that time when Julian prompted me to write Waves), so feel free to text me with any ideas or topics that you want me to turn into a rhyming masterpiece. I’ll give credit, I promise.
Another announcement that I’d like to make is that I have come up with a title for my collection. It will be called…(drums beating)… “16 Bullets and a Bouquet”. Yup, there will be a separate post about the background behind this title, but I’ll give you a hint - Read again The Man Who Made Death Miss (3rd poem in here). Multiple readers have named it my best poem, a “masterpiece“, some used it as a caption to posts on Instagram and others even wanted to have it as a tattoo. Agree with them?
Finally, I want to ask for a huge favour. To be more attractive to publishers one doesn’t only need great writing, but a good amount of attention too. Currently, I only have 45 followers on my Facebook page and about 20 active subscribers on Substack. Needless to say, it’s well below what I need. For that reason, I ask you to help me out by sharing my Facebook page to anyone you think would be interested. You can also share any my best poems. As my favourite Substacker likes to say “The more, the merrier“.
